3 Tbsp. olive oil
1-2 egg yolk
Mix together ingredients then apply to ends then up to scalp. Allow to absorb into hair for 20-25 minutes while soaking in bath, then rinse with water. If needed, use light shampoo to cleanse.
Relaxing Mask for All Hair Types:
1 whole avocado
½ mashed banana
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Mix ingredients together then apply on dry hair, massaging from ends to roots. Allow to absorb for 30 minutes, then rinse.
Cleansing Mask to Combat Build Up and Dandruff:
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
Juice of ½ lemon
Grated peel of entire lemon
Mix together then put mask on dry hair. Allow to absorb for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with water
Potato Hand Mask to Nourish Dry Hands
1 potato, cooked and mashed
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Mix together potato and oil, covering hands and allowing mixture to set in for 15 minutes. Rise off with water.
Revitalizing Tired Feet Mask
2 Tbsp. fresh mint, chipped
½ cup milk
Heat milk and mint, then allow to brew and cool for 30 minutes. Once cool, apply to feet and let soak for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Anti-aging Foot Softening Mask
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
2 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. yogurt
Blend ingredients together then apply to feet. If possible, wrap a warm, moist towel and allow mixture to set for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and apply think cream.
Manicure and Pedicure
Small nail scissors
2 cups warm milk in a bowl
Warm hand towel
Orange stick
Nail file
Buffer
Small amount of olive oil
Natural nail polish
After using the foot and hand masks, trim skin around the nails carefully with a nail scissor. Then, soak hands in a bowl of warm milk to soften cuticles for several minutes. Rinse in warm water and pat dry. Then use the orange stick to push back cuticles just before rounding and shaping nails with a nail file. Buff nails with a buffing block until nails shine. Once done, use a tiny bit of olive oil (or other organic oil) to moisten hands and cuticles. If desired, coat nails with a natural nail polish or protectant coat.
