Simple Anti-Aging: Honey is an excellent hydrating mask in and of itself. Simply apply all over the face and allow to work its magic for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Honey can be added to a multitude of recipes as well for the same effect.

Anti-Aging Honey Miracle Mask

  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1 egg white, whisked
  • 1 Tbls. Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • ¼ cup oatmeal
  • 2 slices cucumber, chilled

Mix all ingredients together but keep cucumber aside and apply to skin. Place cucumber sliced over eyes to help depuff. Allow to dry for a minimum of 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Relaxing: For relaxation, warmth, quiet, and scent are most important. Warm a bowl of water and add 5-10 drops of lavender to the water. Soak a wash cloth in the mixture, ring out, and cover face completely for 10-20 minutes. If needed, warm the cloth again by dunking in bowl. This is best combined with a bath with aromatherapy of bergamot and orange.

Cleansing: Apple cider vinegar is just as potent as a facial cleanser as it is an internal detoxer. Drink a little vinegar in water if you dare while you treat your skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar Facial

  • 1 Tblsp. Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups water

After cleansing the face, apply the above solution using a cotton ball. Allow to dry.

Revitalizing: Much like the vinegar, lemon has an astringent effect. Moisten a cotton ball with pure lemon juice and swipe across the face. The vitamin C and acid revitalize dull skin almost instantly!
